What is a financial coach?
Just like with sports, business, and health, a financial coach helps you plan, set, and accomplish your goals. We’ll help you see the future you want and find the tools you need to realize your vision. We’ll provide guidance and also accountability so you can stay on track.

How are you different from a financial advisor?
A financial coach will help you with ways to invest your money once you have it, for example they may advise you to invest in stock, bonds, or funds.
A financial coach helps you learn to budget, save for emergencies, get out of debt, and establish healthy money habits.
Essentially, a financial coach focuses on your money’s behavior, while a financial coach focuses on your behavior.

What is a coaching session like?
Your financial situation is unique and so your sessions are tailored to help you stay on your path to financial freedom. We’ll talk about what you’re accomplishing and the tools you need to keep moving forward. Each session will help you understand concepts and give you something you can take action on to reach your goal of financial security. Some of the tools are applicable to multiple clients, but your path is personalized to you.

How often are the sessions held?
The number of sessions you need and how often we have them depends on your specific needs. Some clients need a few sessions to establish goals and set the plan to accomplish them, others want to better understand financial concepts. Many need to change their entire way of looking at money. Frequently we see people wanting a combination of these. Most clients ask for multiple sessions that are held once a month, to help them put what they’re learning into practice and give accountability.

Are you qualified to coach?
In addition to being certified as Financial Coaches, we’ve personally experienced the struggle to control our finances in our own lives and have done the work needed to get ourselves out of debt and achieve our goals. The stress and heartbreak we’ve been through both personally and as entrepreneurs are the reasons we’re here to help you establish and navigate your personal path to financial security.
